Caroline Rose

"My aim as an instructor is to teach each individual student how to foster their own creativity and establish their voice as an artist. I encourage curiosity and exploration when it comes to creating, and this school is the perfect place to begin that creative journey".  - Caroline

About Caroline

Caroline has had a longstanding relationship with Nancy Stephen Gallery & School of Art.  She was once a student here, starting on the Junior side and then progressing to Youth classes, where she made a portfolio to prepare her for college.  When she attended East Carolina University in North Carolina she also assisted in teaching the Youth classes during our Summer Camp.

Caroline considers herself a multi-media artist, creating sculptural works and textile designs as well as painting and drawing.  Now that she has graduated from ECU, with degrees in Fine Art and Psychology, she has joined us full time as a teacher for our Youth and portfolio students, as well as teaching our new Textile class on Mondays.
